![]() Kill them quickly - or risk being in a world of pain. These enemies can be an extreme pain to deal with - not only do they constantly spew cursed gas close to themselves, but if they turn their lantern red, you’ll immediately start to lose your maximum health! Not only does this lower your health, but it makes healing impossible until they turn the light off or you kill them, and you’ll have to heal your health back. At the far end you might be able to make out the smouldering iron held by a Torturer. The right cells contain a Hollow zombie, and a locked door. ![]() The left cells contain a Rusted Coin (careful, the neighbors don’t like stealing), and a door you can open to get a Large Titanite Shard. Continue down the path to a long corridor lined with cells. Locked doors will become a theme, but don't worry, we'll be finding every last key and returning to the doors either on this page or as part of the Profaned Capital backtracking. Now enter the dungeon proper to find your first Bonfire, and a locked door on the right. ![]() Defeating this spirit will get you the blade, Murakumo. This enemy wields a giant curved sword and a crossbow - so be wary of his spinning weapon arts that can deal a lot of damage when done in two hands. Outside, be wary as you cross the bridge leading to the dungeon, as there’s a good chance you’ll suddenly be invaded by an enemy NPC - Alva, Seeker of the Spurned.
